WAYS TO HELP

There are many ways to get involved with helping shape the lives of young women in Pakistan in general and those inspirational young women at Shadow Girls Academy in particular:

1)     Participate in one of the upcoming events!  Speaking engagements and fundraisers are a fantastic way to get
the word out. Upcoming events include a jambalaya dinner, and we could use all the help we can get delivering the dinners to local businesses to raise funds for a generator for the school.

2)     Help raise funds for school resources! Unlike too many other organizations, the funds raised for this project go directly to the students. The most urgent needs of the school include a generator so the young female students can study at nighttime; scholarships for those students whose families simply cannot afford basic school supplies; and educational materials for the academy including maps and calculators. 

3)     Spread the word! Tell friends. Talk to family. Research online. The plight of young people in general and young women in particular in Pakistan is harrowing. The young women at Shadow Girls Academy see education for what it truly is—a gift. You can help shape their future! Help let others know that there is a way to change the world right now.

4)     Join in the upcoming voyage to Pakistan! If you are 21 or older, have teaching experience, and would like to journey to Pakistan, please join us for one of our upcoming discussions.
